This is sort of a combo of info/tutorials, but it is targeted to attacking anything with a large volume of ants. Specifically this was designed to help with attacking a level two pineapple city. It may be of help to anyone aswell as newbies. The CONTENTS consist of: "The World Map", "Pineapple City" (and watermelon), "Command Chamber", and "Mass Attacks and how they work". ################################################################################ ### The World Map There is a North Tower at the top of the map, The magic battle tower. This is the North end of the map, or Top, or X:0 Y:0 Coordinates. East: Right end, X:800 Y:0. South: Bottom, X:800 Y:800. West: Left, X:0 Y:800. Center: Contains the Territories, Titantium for Special Soldiers to farm, and Beastland of each league who holds a territory. You will find (FMA) League Pasture at X:421 Y:402, this is our territory in the world map. Many of our members circle this area and feel free to move your Hill here and join us in your ant life. ################################################################################ ### Pineapple City You must be in a league to control a Pineapple City. The Pineapple will reset at 19:00 game time everyday and will refresh to a random location on the map. You "can" garrison troops in pineapple that your league currently holds. lvl 1: 30% world farming speed buff and 20 extra puzzle pieces from carring normal items no less than lvl 5. Only 95% of injured ants go to the hospital. This is the Green one. There are 4. Military strength is 5000. 5% of ants die. lvl 2: 30% world farming speed buff and 40 extra puzzle pieces from carring normal items no less than lvl 5. Only 80% of injured ants go to the hospital. This is the Red one. There are 2. Military strength is 15000. 20% of ants die. ## Watermelon City coming soon, expected April 12 or April 13. So far known about it is the league leader controlling the watermelon city can search the location of anyone on the map. More info can be found by clicking "Pineapple City", then "Info" or by clicking "Search" from the map, "World Coordinate" tab. Unkown what level it is, how many are on the map, can you farm titanium, do you get even more puzzle pieces (etc..). You will need to ask an R5 (DoodlePop) or an R4 to set the tax rate on the pineapple cities (watermelon unknown). Anyone in the league controlling the city/fortress can garrison troops inside in the event of an attack from another league. When the battle is over and your league controls the city/fortress, don't forget to recall your troops that may be garrisoned inside unless you want to defend it. ################################################################################ ### Command Chamber: The Command Chamber is used for learning strategic skills. +10 SP (Skill Points) for each chamber. You will need 27 Command Chambers to max all SP. Marching Size = 70 total levels/SP. Affects only yourself. Increasing marching size by 50 per level, every level requires 1 SP. Recent marching size is your troops max size in a solo march, and each SP used here increases your troops "recent" march size by 50 per SP used. World Troops = 3 levels or 30 SP. Affects only yourself. Increases the number of troops you can have out at single time. You start at 3 troops and max is 6 troops. World Troops can only be increased as you increase Marching size (so it is actually 20 SP used per level here). Massing Size = 70 levels/SP. Affects all members of your mass. Starts at 20k ants, each SP raises the limit by 500 ants bringing the total to 55k ants once maxed out! Massing Members = 10 levels or 100 SP. Affects all members of your mass. You start with 4 members allowed including yourself in a Mass. To increase by 1 member/level takes 10 SP, which should give you 14 members in your mass once maxed out. Costs: Marching Size: lvl 1 is 1k each grain, sugar, protein titanium. It increase 1k per lvl. World Troops: lvl 4 is 450k each of wood, stone, metal, titanium. Massing Size: lvl 1 is 1k each; grain, sugar, protein, titanium. Massing Members: lvl 1 is 30k each of wood, stone, metal, titanium. ################################################################################ ### Mass Attacks and how they work. Mass Attacks are a great way for many to attack one target. STEP ONE: Massing Time: can be set to 5, 10, or 30 minutes (replace "X" with a number). This means that if set to X minutes, you have X minutes to cancel the mass and/or have members join and fill up the mass. STEP TWO: You will then choose your troop to send by clicking "Dispatch", when done, click "March". Now that you have configured your Mass Attack and your mass is ready to be assembled for an attack on your target, click "Start". ### NOTES The members who decide to join in your mass will have to be able to march their troop to your base within the time you set for the mass. After this time has passed, the mass will start and cannot be stopped until the attack has happened or you cancel the mass. All the troops from the members who joined including yourself will begin their march across the map to their intended target. You and you alone can use speed up cards from your inventory Bag to make the troops walk across the map faster, simular to a solo attack. You can send one troop per mass. I'm not sure whether you can mix your ants or not as I only have regular soldier ants currently. You start out by being able to mass with only a total of four people in a mass (until you increase your "Massing Members" with titanium in the Command Chamber). It take 10 points to increase Massing Members by one (first point costs 30k titanium). The more ants, the more damage to the target. The more members, the less damage to each member. The individual who sends the most ants, will take the most damage (it seems to work by a percentage of the total ants in the mass). Anyone can start a mass attack, this person is the "owner" of said mass attack and the people who join are the participants. You can find a mass that has been started in a couple ways: Click "League" and "Campaign", then choose which mass to join if there are more then one. Click the advertised "link" in league chat. Once the mass is underway, or left the owners tree: Find and click on the army thats running across the map. Click the troop link in the top left on the map, which also has a destination and timer. Click "League" and "Campaign". The owner chooses how long until the mass is underway, chooses of their own ants which to send, and how many. The partipants who choose to join choose of their own ants which to send and how many. Each person in the mass has their own max limit of ants per troops. The limit of people to join a mass attack depends on the owner (minimum seems to be four total participants including the owner / check "Command Chamber"). The participants troops are then sent to gather at the owners base, where, when the timer ends, the mass heads out. The owner then has until the next timer expires to dismiss the mass attack or continue with the attack. It will "not" show on the map where the mass is intended until the mass departs from the owners tree. Once the mass is underway, there is no stopping it. The destination is now shown to all on the map. Participants and others can view info on the mass while the owner has the option to speed up the march (just as anyone would with a solo attack). Once the target has been attacked, all participating healthy ants head home, injured ants are hospitalized, and a mail should be send to each with details of the battle, including ant deaths and targets deaths. When you join a mass you cannot leave it or edit your troop after you setting it. The only way to stop a mass is for the owner to dismiss it (same as recall for a solo attack) and then all the ants are returned home. It is IMPORTANT to choose the time setting correctly so that members have time to gather and everyone attacks at the same time (needs more testing). ## Special note for lvl 2 pineapple, 20% of your ants die meaning if you send 500 ants and 100 get hurt, then 20 of the hurt ants die and 80 go to hospital while the 400 uninjured ants go home. ################################################################################ ### Twigs Mass Pineapple Level Two When we attack a level two pineapple, there will be a mass started every minute or two, maybe every 2.5 minutes. This gives time between each attack to heal up. This difference will will be chosen more by how many people participating, location of everyone, and location of the pineapple, as well as the amount of time for the mass to depart. "Mass up", "Up", "Next", "Next mass up"; These all mean there is a new mass with plenty of room to join, although it just may be better for participants to watch for the new mass on their own. "Mass out", "Out"; These all mean that the Mass has started the march, or departed "out" for battle. "Heal up", "Heal"; These all mean that a recent "OUT" call has reached the pineapple and the troops from that mass are returning home. They ALSO mean to those who where in THAT mass that they might want to heal THEIR ants now. This is pretty much it.. A benifit to a mass attack on level two pineapple means more damage done per army sent and in the long run quicker death to the pineapple, less attacks made and therefore less deaths to your ants, and the deaths are distributed more fairly to all as everyone has made the same amount of attacks. OR Something along those lines..? # As for a level one pineapple city, we generally just solo attack it, no mass # attack here. ######################################################################### ### Thanks for this tutorial goes to all those who helped with lvl 2 ### ### pineapple, and special thanks to Debbi 73 and Shari for your help ### ### with extended testing. ### #########################################################################
